The NYPD has released new information regarding a rape that occurred in the Maspeth section of Queens.
The incident happened on April 30th when a woman was approached by a man on a motorized scooter around 5 am.
The woman got on the back of the scooter after a conversation with the man, who then drove her to 48th Avenue and 72nd Street.
The man punched the woman in the face, causing her to hit her head on the ground and lose consciousness.
The suspect then allegedly raped her and ran off, leaving the victim unconscious.
She was later taken to Elmhurst Hospital in serious condition.
The police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
They have released additional photos and videos from a residential building in Lefrak City where the suspect was last seen.
