In a terrifying incident that occurred early Saturday morning, a woman was stabbed multiple times while waiting on a CTA platform in the Loop.
According to reports, the attack took place just before 1:30 a.m.
on the elevated platform of the Wabash and Adam stop.
The victim sustained several wounds to her body and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
The CTA trains continued to operate throughout the night in the loop, but the Wabash and Adam’s stop was bypassed.
Police are currently investigating the incident and have yet to make any arrests.
