Wisconsin’s Most Wanted fugitive, Kenneth Twyman, has been found guilty by a Milwaukee County jury of homicide in the killing of Tayvon Luckett in April 2022.
Twyman, who has been on the run three times, admitted to firing the shots that killed the victim.
Twyman claimed he acted in self-defense, but the state’s star witness was the victim’s girlfriend, who testified against him.
Twyman’s defense strategy focused on his credibility versus the state’s case.
His lawyer, Mark Richards, who also represented Kyle Rittenhouse, argued self-defense, but the jury found Twyman guilty of first-degree Reckless homicide, which carries a maximum sentence of 60 years.
Twyman’s sentencing is set for May 26th.
