Wichita Falls artist Jesse Baggett to represent Texas at 2023 Art Battle National Championship
Local artist Jesse Baggett has been chosen to represent the entire state of Texas for the second year in a row at the 2023 Art Battle National Championship.
The competition will be held next weekend and Baggett will be competing against other talented artists from across the nation.
In an interview with KFDX 3 News at Five, Baggett shared that she learned several new techniques during her Art Battle journey and that the competition sheds light on the skills needed to complete a painting in just 20 minutes.
Despite not winning last year, Baggett is hoping to take home the first-place title this time around.

Baggett credits her mother’s artistic guidance throughout the year for helping her compete on one of the biggest art platforms in the nation.
