Get Ready for Gusty Winds and High Temperatures this Weekend
The CBS 4 News at 10 Weather forecast predicts that the wind will blow at 5 to 10 miles per hour on Saturday, with temperatures soaring up to 91 degrees in the afternoon.
The skies will be mostly sunny, but humidity will be on the rise, although still tolerable.
The winds are expected to come from the southeast, and they will be a little gusty, with stronger gusts of 20 to 25 miles per hour on Saturday, and 15 to 20 miles per hour on Sunday.
If you live in Mission Town, you can expect a start of 71 degrees, with temperatures rising to 87 to 93 degrees during the day.
The skies will remain mostly sunny, and the southeast winds will be 15 to 20 miles per hour, gusting up to 30 miles per hour.
The forecast also warns that the wind and waves will create choppy conditions on the bay, so be cautious if you plan to go out on the water.
Overnight, there will be increasing cloud cover across the Rio Grande Valley, with a low of 68 degrees.
