Deadly mass shootings have taken place over the weekend in multiple states, with investigations currently underway in Alabama and Kentucky.

In Alabama, at least four people have been reported dead, with at least 15 teens receiving treatment for gunshot wounds following a sweet 16 birthday party.

In Kentucky, at least two people have been killed and several others injured in a shooting.

The motive and suspect or suspects have yet to be identified.

In Pennsylvania, a shooting on the campus of Lincoln University left two people injured, who have since been released from the hospital.

Investigations are ongoing, and police have not announced any arrests in the incident.

These incidents add to the growing number of mass shootings in the U.S, with at least 163 such shootings reported in the first 15 weeks of 2023, according to the Gun Violence Archives.
