Intense Winds Cause Widespread Damage, Leave Thousands Without Power in Yolo County

A church in Watsonville is gathering donations for victims of the recent floods in Pajaro.

The Church of Nazarene is working with local non-profit organizations and community leaders to distribute essential items such as diapers, baby formula, feminine hygiene products, and clothes to those affected by the storms.

The church is currently serving 300 people a day, and the need for donations keeps growing.

They are in particular need of baby items like diapers and wipes, as well as new and unwrapped underwear for both men and women.

The church is accepting donations every day from 9 am to 5 pm, except on Sundays.

They are also a donation drop-off and pick-up location for those in need of items.

The church hopes to move closer to Pajaro in the future, but for now, they will continue accepting donations until the community’s needs are met.
