Today, expect warmer temperatures compared to yesterday, with a high of 72 degrees.
However, we have a boundary located across the northern portions of Maryland, resulting in cloudy skies, patchy fog near the surface, and an isolated rain shower south of Hagerstown.
Fortunately, most locations are currently rain-free, although visibility is limited in some areas, especially along the southern end of the Eastern Shore.
As the fog lifts and the sun rises, visibility will gradually improve during the mid-morning hours.
Temperatures this morning are starting off very mild, around the upper 50s to lower 60s.

Throughout the day, we may see an isolated shower in the morning, but overall, it will be drier with more sunshine in the afternoon.
Temperatures are expected to reach around 75 degrees at 1 o’clock and 78 degrees by 5 o’clock, possibly touching 80 degrees today.
However, clouds will return later in the evening and overnight as a warm front approaches the region, bringing an area of low pressure and the potential for rain showers and a few rumbles of thunder after midnight, mainly north and west of the city.
By early tomorrow morning, the rain showers should move out, leading to drier conditions for the second half of Tuesday.
However, expect extra clouds and breezy winds from the northeast, which will cause temperatures to drop.
The seven-day forecast shows a high around 80 degrees today, followed by a cooler day tomorrow with a high of 67 degrees.
But don’t worry, the temperatures will climb throughout the rest of the week, bringing plenty of sunshine by mid to late week.
There is a chance of rain showers on Saturday, but just in time for Mother’s Day, highs will be back in the lower 80s.
