After a three-year hiatus due to Covid, the Veterans Memorial Poker Run is back and ready for action.

The American Legion Riders will be hosting the annual event, which helps raise funds for local veterans and veteran organizations.

The event will feature a motorcycle ride to honor veterans, followed by breakfast, auctions, food, and prizes.

Even if you don’t have a motorcycle, you can join in on the fun by riding in a “cage” (car).

The cost for a single rider is $25, and all proceeds will benefit local veteran organizations such as the Blue Star Moms and Kern County Veteran Homeless Shelters.

The event is open to the public and will take place rain or shine.

Participants will gather at the American Legion Post 26 and the ride will end at 9:30 am.

This event is a reminder of the love and support that Kern County provides for its veterans.
