A Utah Transit Authority bus driver is being hailed as a hero after saving a woman from a vicious dog attack.

Marissa Bowen was on her way home from the grocery store when she saw two dogs almost get hit by a car.

She approached the dogs to see if they were friendly and initially they seemed harmless, but they quickly turned aggressive and began biting her.

She thought she was going to die when the bus driver, Nick, pulled up and came to her rescue.

He helped her onto the bus and the dogs were biting at the doors and windows as they tried to get in.

Nick helped Bowen put pressure on her wounds to stop the bleeding and made calls for help.

Thanks to Nick’s quick thinking and bravery, Bowen was able to hold her son again and is recovering from her injuries.

The owner of the dogs has been contacted, but the incident is still under investigation.

Bowen’s family has set up a GoFundMe page to help with her medical expenses.
