In breaking news, Ukrainian border guards have eliminated a group of Wagner mercenaries in the industrial zone of Bakhmut.
The information was received from the Ukrainian border service, who reported that Ukrainian troops launched a counter-attack against Russian forces near an industrial facility.
The Ukrainian defenders had previously resisted several attacks from the Russians in the area.
According to the report, the Russian mercenaries had gained a foothold inside one of the production stores and were rallying forces for further attack.
However, a Ukrainian ground reconnaissance group penetrated and eliminated the Wagner soldiers.
The Ukrainian border guards also set an ambush for Russian reserve units.
As darkness fell, Russian attack teams approaching the frontline were surprised and six Russian soldiers were killed by Ukrainian snipers.
