In a major development in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have successfully destroyed 11 Shahed drones that were launched by the Russian Army to attack the Ukrainian fronts.
The Ukrainian air defense forces were able to take down 11 out of the 16 Shahid drones that attacked Ukraine on the evening of March 17th.
The Ukrainian Air Force issued a statement on Telegram, confirming that the attack was carried out using Iranian-manufactured Shahid 136 and Shahid 131 Kamikaze drones, which were launched from two directions – the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov and the Bryansk Oblast of the Russian Federation.
