Ukraine’s Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, has once again denied reports of the government’s plans to send court summons through the “Diia” app.
In a statement, Fedorov confirmed that there are no plans or developments for such a service in the future.
This comes after rumors spread that the Ukrainian government would use the popular app to distribute legal notices, which sparked concerns over privacy and security.
Fedorov’s reassurance should come as a relief to many users of the “Diia” app, which has become an essential tool for accessing government services online.
