Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) are investigating a shooting incident that occurred outside a business in southwest Louisville, leaving two people injured.
The incident took place in the evening at around 5 pm when a female victim was discovered in the 3200 block of Commerce Center Place, while a male victim was found a few blocks away in the 3300 block of Penn Way Avenue.
According to police, the victims had been outside a business located at Cane Run Road in Bells Lane when they were shot.
Both victims were taken to the hospital for treatment and are now in recovery.
The LMPD is conducting an investigation into the incident.
