Two people have been injured in two separate road rage shootings in Houston, according to police.

The incidents occurred on Saturday morning, with one victim in critical condition.

In the first incident, a man was shot in the chest after an altercation with another driver at a Taco Bell in southwest Houston.

He was able to drive to his apartment complex to call for help, where he was found in critical condition by officers.

The second victim was shot in the arm after being followed home by suspects on the northwest side of the city.

Police are searching for the suspects in both cases and are investigating how the road rage escalated to a shooting.

Authorities are reminding drivers to avoid eye contact, not to respond to aggression with aggression, and to be tolerant and forgiving to prevent such incidents from occurring.
