Two men have been arrested following an alleged attack on a security guard at a plant nursery in Orange County.

The incident took place early in the morning, and one suspect is still at large.

Winter Garden police responded to a call at Knox Nursery at approximately 3:40 a.m.

Authorities discovered that three masked men wearing blue hoodies had arrived at the nursery with the intention of causing trouble.

According to the police, one of the suspects pointed a gun at a security guard.

When the guard attempted to disarm him, the suspect proceeded to assault him with the firearm before throwing him to the ground.

The injured security guard was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries to his ear.

Meanwhile, another security guard reported that he drew his own firearm after one of the suspects pointed a gun at him.

Although one of the masked men managed to escape, the police located and arrested 34-year-old James Brunton in a nearby lake.

The authorities later apprehended the second suspect, 36-year-old Jamal West, who was found wearing the same hoodie seen in surveillance footage.

The investigation is ongoing, and the police are appealing to the public for any information that could assist in locating the remaining suspect.

This incident has raised concerns about security and safety at the nursery, with law enforcement working diligently to ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice.
