Former President Donald Trump has taken to social media to criticize Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg as a New York grand jury decides whether or not to indict Trump.
The district attorney’s office has accused Trump of creating a false expectation of his arrest in connection with an investigation into hush money paid to adult film star Stormy Daniels in 2016.
Trump has denied any wrongdoing and called the investigation a “disgusting Witch Hunt.” In a separate development, a federal appeals court has ordered Trump’s lawyer, Evan Corcoran, to testify about his communications with Trump regarding classified materials.
The investigation continues as the grand jury hears evidence in the case.
