Former President Trump and his campaign are focusing on a flimsier legal case in order to diminish the impact of two more serious cases he faces, according to NBC’s political director and “Meet the Press” moderator, Chuck Todd.
The investigation in Georgia over election interference and the special counsel’s investigation on both classified documents and the January 6 Insurrection are the more serious cases.
Todd says the Trump campaign sees this as an opportunity to hijack the narrative and create some political heyday out of it.
However, it is yet to be seen if this strategy will work.
