Transitional Improvements: Helping Homeless & Formerly Incarcerated Grocery Store Shooting; 1 Injured, 1 in Custody

Former President Trump has concluded his testimony at his fraud trial and has now shifted his focus towards attacking the judge and New York’s attorney general. Alongside this, he is celebrating his recent poll numbers.

During his testimony, Trump frequently made insulting remarks and expressed frustration, particularly towards Judge Arthur Eng Gorin, whom he accused of bias against him. Trump believes the trial is unjust, claiming it should have never been initiated. Previously, Judge Eng Gorin determined that Trump had deceived banks by overvaluing his assets and manipulating his net worth for personal gain through better loan rates and insurance premiums. While Trump acknowledged his awareness of the content in his financial statements, he attempted to place most of the blame on his deputies and accountants, asserting that he relies on their record-keeping abilities as he pays them handsomely.

Additionally, Trump argued that his net worth is greater than what appears on paper due to the inclusion of the Trump brand, insisting that the whole case is a scam. Trump reiterated that the case should be dismissed. Despite his erratic behavior and insulting comments, the evidence presented in the trial suggests that Trump had indeed artificially inflated his assets for personal enrichment.

The absence of a jury means that the judge will ultimately decide whether to prohibit Trump from conducting business in New York and whether to impose significant financial penalties amounting to hundreds of millions of dollars. Ivanka Trump, Trump’s daughter, is scheduled to testify tomorrow..
