Good news for those in the tri-state area as CBS2’s Elise Finch reports that today is the pick of the week weather-wise.
Although it is still cold with temperatures ranging from the low 20s to mid 30s, it is not as windy as it was yesterday, with winds at 16 miles per hour.
The National Weather Service has predicted a high of 56 degrees, which is six degrees above normal.
The skies are mostly clear, which should make for a beautiful day.
The coastal low, which caused clouds and windy conditions, has moved far enough away, and severe weather in other parts of the country is not expected to affect the area.
Although tomorrow could see some clouds and a slight chance of rain, Saturday is expected to be drier and warmer.
However, Sunday will be cold and blustery with mostly sunny skies.
So, it’s best to make the most of today’s mild temperatures and dry, sunny conditions.
