Tragic Wrong-Way Crash on 71 Freeway in Chino Hills Claims Four Lives

Early Sunday morning, a wrong-way crash on the 71 Freeway in Chino Hills resulted in the deaths of four individuals.

The collision, which involved multiple vehicles, occurred near Chino Hills Parkway at approximately 3 A.M.

Upon arriving at the scene, California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers found at least one car fully engulfed in flames, and four vehicles total were involved in the accident.

It remains unclear which of the vehicles the victims were occupying at the time of the crash.

In response to the tragedy, CHP officials have announced plans to shut down the freeway for several hours to conduct a thorough investigation.

As of this time, the identities of the victims have not been released, and it is unclear if any other individuals were injured in the collision.
