Tragic Accident Leaves One Dead in Two-Vehicle Crash Near Tea

South Dakota – The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that occurred yesterday morning southeast of Tea.

According to officials, the accident happened when a 71-year-old driver of a Dodge Durango lost control of their vehicle due to snow and ice on the road.

The Durango crossed the center line and collided with a semi-truck, resulting in the death of the female driver of the Durango.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 32-year-old driver of the semi-truck was unharmed.

The incident highlights the importance of driving carefully during winter weather conditions.

Motorists are advised to slow down and increase their following distance to prevent accidents like this from happening.
