Station Nightclub Fire Memorials to be Held This Weekend
This weekend, two memorials will be held in remembrance of the tragic Station Nightclub Fire that occurred over 20 years ago in West Warwick, Rhode Island.
The fire claimed the lives of 100 people and left over 200 others injured.
The events are organized by the Station Fire Memorial Foundation, which has rescheduled the commemorative service from February to May due to anticipated poor winter weather.
On Saturday afternoon, a “Ride to Remember” will take place, starting from Club Frontenac on Main Street in West Warwick.
Participants will gather to honor the victims and survivors of the fire.
The ride will be followed by a concert on Sunday afternoon, providing an opportunity for the community to come together in support and remembrance.
For those unable to attend the memorials in person, WPRI.com will be live streaming Sunday’s memorial service.
