Two people were killed early Wednesday morning in Miami when the driver of a white Mercedes-Benz lost control on an entrance ramp to the Dolphin Expressway.
The accident happened around 3:50 am as the vehicle was traveling on the entrance ramp from southbound Northwest 42nd Avenue to westbound State Road 836.
The Mercedes lost control and collided into a guardrail before crashing into two concrete barrier walls.
The driver, an adult male, was transported to Ryder Trauma Center but later died, while the passenger, an adult female, died on the scene.
The area was closed for some time but has since reopened, and traffic is moving smoothly.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
