Tragic Fire in Southwest Albuquerque Leaves One Dead

A person has been found dead after a fire broke out in Southwest Albuquerque this morning.

Firefighters were called to a home on Silver Avenue, near U.S.

Route 66, at around 7:30 am.

Upon arrival, they discovered a victim who had unfortunately lost their life in the blaze.

The identity and age of the victim remain unknown at this time.

The cause of the fire is also still under investigation.

The Albuquerque Fire Department has stated that they are currently working to determine what sparked the deadly inferno.

Residents in the surrounding area are understandably shaken by the tragedy.

The loss of life is always difficult to bear, especially in circumstances like these.
