One Person Killed and Another Critically Injured in North Houston Double Shooting

In a tragic incident on Friday night, a double shooting in north Houston resulted in the death of one person and left another critically wounded.

Officers were alerted to the scene at around 10:30 PM, after receiving reports of gunfire in the vicinity of Ella Boulevard.

Upon their arrival, they discovered two men suffering from gunshot wounds.

According to the authorities, the initial shots were fired approximately half a mile away from the current location, near Lincoln Park on Grand Shaw Street.

The two men, both in their 20s or 30s, were found with injuries at this site.

The driver, who was operating a silver Camry, allegedly drove through yards before crashing into a tree.

Tragically, the driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Meanwhile, the passenger managed to call emergency services, and was subsequently rushed to the hospital.

Medical professionals are working tirelessly to ensure his survival.

Law enforcement officials have yet to release the identities of the victims.

The motive behind the shooting remains unknown at this time.

However, investigators have uncovered multiple shell casings in Lincoln Park, where the incident occurred.

They are diligently gathering evidence in an effort to piece together the sequence of events and determine what transpired leading up to the shooting.

In an appeal to the public, the police are urging any witnesses or individuals with information regarding the incident to come forward.

Houston Police Department (HPD) has requested that anyone with relevant details contact them directly.
