Three people have died in a single-car crash in Puyallup, and police are currently investigating the incident.

The crash occurred on Saturday on 19th Avenue Southeast, just off South Meridian, and police have shut down part of the road as they work at the scene.

The car involved in the crash is located in a residential yard, and police received a call for a vehicle on fire in the yard just before 5 am.

Police and the fire department attempted to extinguish the flames and get the people out of the car, but unfortunately, all three of them were dead.

Officers investigating the incident stated that the car was driving Northbound on 3rd Street Southeast before going through the trees and launching off of a dead end on Third Street.

No identities, ages, or genders have been released, and it could take up to a month for investigators to determine the cause of the crash.
