Three people have died in a single-car crash in Puyallup, according to a report from Fox 13 Seattle.

Police are currently investigating the incident which occurred on Saturday.

The crash took place on 19th Avenue Southeast just off South Meridian, leading to the closure of part of the road.

Police were alerted to the incident just before 5 a.m.

when they received a call for a vehicle that was on fire in a yard.

Upon arriving at the scene, they found that all three people in the car had died.

The car was traveling northbound on 3rd Street Southeast when it went through the trees and launched off of a dead end on Third Street, ending up in the yard on 19th Avenue.

No information has been released about the identity or ages of the victims or the cause of the crash.

Investigators will conduct toxicology tests, but it could take up to a month to gather all of the necessary information.
