Three people have died following a single-car crash in Puyallup, which is currently under investigation by the police.
The incident took place on 19th Avenue Southeast, just off South Meridian, and part of the road has been shut down.
The police were called just before 5 am when they received a report of a vehicle that was on fire in a yard.
Upon arrival, they found that the car had gone through the trees, launched off the dead end on Third Street, and ended up in a residential yard on 19th Avenue Southeast.
The officers who are investigating the incident have not identified the individuals, nor have they released their ages or genders.
The police are currently working on determining what led to the crash, including the speed and toxicology, and it could take up to a month for them to put all the information together.
The medical examiner has arrived at the scene, and further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
