A tragic accident in Huntingdon County has left one woman dead and her husband seriously injured.
According to police, the incident occurred on Saturday night in Tell Township when an all-terrain vehicle carrying 34-year-old Amanda Hoffert and her husband Brett Hoffert overturned.
Amanda, who was a passenger on the ATV, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Brett sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The couple, who are from Ephrata in Lancaster County, were out enjoying their weekend when the accident happened.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
