The wife of a Chicago firefighter has died days after a house fire in Montclare.
The fire claimed the life of a 7-year-old boy earlier this week.
The mother of the boy has now also passed away from injuries sustained in the fire.
The firefighter is said to be in a state of distress, shuttling between hospitals where his loved ones are being treated.
Fellow firefighters have organized a fundraising effort to support him and his family during this difficult time.
