In Canton, Ohio, a three-week-old baby girl was kidnapped from her home by two suspects who pretended to be child protective services workers.

The suspects, identified as 31-year-old Sapphire McDole and 21-year-old Brandon Savage, were later captured by police in Coshocton County.

McDole has been charged with kidnapping while Savage is charged with complicity to commit kidnapping.

The incident took place on Friday morning when the suspects went to a home on Alan Page Drive SE and took the baby girl without providing any paperwork or proof of their authority.

The baby’s mother said that the suspects tried to take all four of her children, but she refused to let them take her other son.

The Canton Police Department has released a statement saying that the baby was found safe and unharmed after the suspects were apprehended.

The police department also warned the public to be cautious of people posing as child protective services workers and to always verify their identity and credentials.

This kidnapping has raised concerns about the safety of children and the importance of verifying the identity of anyone claiming to be from child protective services.

The police have advised anyone who suspects that someone is impersonating a child protective services worker to contact their local authorities immediately.
