The 24th annual Shamrock 5K Fun Run and Walk in Dublin took place despite the rainy weather on St.
Patrick’s Day.
Thousands of people still showed up for the event, with some even participating in the run despite the rain.
The streets were blocked off from 7 AM to 10 AM to accommodate the race, with several roads being affected, including Dublin Boulevard, Sierra Court, Village Parkway, Amador Valley Boulevard, York Drive, and Pin Drive.
Despite the weather, the event had a carnival-like atmosphere, with vendors selling arts, crafts, and food, including a Farmer’s Market.
As the event came to an end, people were still enjoying themselves, with the rain not dampening their spirits.
