Texas High School Baseball Bi-District Series Kicks Off Across the State

The road to the final four has begun for high school baseball teams across Texas.

Several El Paso squads are hoping to make an extended playoff run, with one of them being the number 18 ranked Americas High School.

In their opening game of the Bi-District Series at Hernandez, Americas took game one 5-0 after a great defensive play by Easton Moomau.

They will now look to clinch the series in their next game.

Pebble Hills also won their first game of the Bi-District Series against Odessa, with Sacramento State signee Dylan Torres ending the game with a strikeout.

They can now win the series in their next game.

Meanwhile, Eastlake and Midland faced off in game one of the B District round one, with Midland ultimately winning 4-0.

Del Valle also won in walk-off fashion against Chapin in their Class A Bi-District Series.

In other news, eight borderland softball teams are alive in the area playoffs, with Fabens falling to Canyon in game one of their Class A Series.

The rest of the teams will begin their playoff games tomorrow.
