A tragic shooting in Tempe, Arizona has left a five-year-old child dead and two other juveniles critically injured.
The incident occurred at around 11:45 p.m.
on March 17th between occupants of two vehicles near 52nd Street and Broadway.
The two surviving victims, aged 6 and 17, were taken to the hospital with critical injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
The driver of the victims’ vehicle was an adult male, and the relationship between everyone in the car is unknown.
The suspects and their vehicle have not been described by Tempe Police, who are currently investigating the shooting and looking for multiple suspects.
The I-10 off-ramp at Broadway is closed as part of the ongoing investigation.

Despite the tragedy, the police have assured the community that this was an isolated incident and that there is no active threat to the community.
