Teenager Arrested in Connection to Boynton Beach Hit-and-Run Crash During Prayer Vigil
A teenager has been arrested in connection to a hit-and-run crash that occurred during a prayer vigil in Boynton Beach.
Jamal or Lamar Juice, an 18-year-old, confessed to police that he was the driver of a rented white Camaro that hit Bishop Bernard Wright, severely injuring him.
The incident happened in December during a vigil commemorating the death of Stanley Davis III, who died in a dirt bike crash.
Boynton Beach police have been investigating the case for the last three months and found evidence on a cell phone that led them to Juice.
He is currently awaiting charges to be filed and his first appearance before a Palm Beach County judge.
