A Milwaukee teenager has been sentenced to five years in prison for leading police on a high-speed chase that ended in a crash last February.

Ryan Tate, who was 17 at the time, was driving a jeep that had been carjacked from a Lyft driver the day before.

Surveillance video shows the SUV crashing into multiple cars at Hart Auto, a now-closed used car lot near 76th and Villard, after the police pursuit.

Tate has been charged with multiple offenses, including reckless endangerment and auto theft.

The judge sentenced him to five years in prison.
