A 17-year-old has been charged with capital murder for his alleged role in the deadly carjacking of 65-year-old Judy Walters on Valentine’s Day in the Memorial-area of Houston.
Owen Leonardo Vilanova-Ardon was arrested for his involvement in the shooting of Walters.
Police had previously released surveillance footage showing two suspects driving away in Walters’ car from her apartment complex on York Chester in West Houston.
While Vilanova-Ardon has been arrested, the police are still searching for the other suspect.
