A mass shooting in Dadeville, Alabama, during a sweet 16 birthday party has left four people dead and over two dozen injured.

The police are imploring people to come forward with information about the shooting, which occurred at around 10:30 pm on Saturday night.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has confirmed that at least four people were killed and 28 others were injured during the shooting.

The identities of the deceased have not been released, but it is believed that three of them were teenagers, one of whom had recently been recruited to play football at Jacksonville State University.

The motive for the shooting is not yet known, and police have not named any suspects.

President Biden has released a statement condemning the shooting and calling for common-sense gun safety reforms.
