A woman was tragically killed in what police are calling a domestic-related murder.
Officers had been conducting a welfare check at the Spring Valley Apartments in Gainesville, Georgia, when they discovered the body of 32-year-old Casey Lynn May Allen, who had been stabbed to death.
Police quickly identified 31-year-old Christopher Dean Snow as the suspect and tracked him down to Gwinnett County.
However, Snow was involved in a serious car crash on I-85 before he could be apprehended.
Snow has since been charged with felony murder, but he remains hospitalized.
The tragic incident has left the community in shock and mourning the loss of Allen.
