Virginia Beach, Virginia – A man accused of shooting and killing another man in the parking lot of a Hardee’s restaurant in Virginia Beach has been denied bond.
According to police, 31-year-old Ishaun Riddick shot 31-year-old Anthony Johnson three times in the parking lot of the Timberlake Shopping Center on Holland Rd.
Riddick’s family appeared in court to testify on his behalf, but the judge ruled that despite his lack of prior criminal history, Riddick is still considered a threat to the community.
The shooting occurred on Tuesday morning, and Riddick was arrested shortly afterward.
He now faces charges of second-degree murder.
