A 30-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder, robbery and firearms offenses after an incident at a gas station in Kaneohe.

According to the police, the suspect, identified as Patrick Hanawahine, demanded money from a customer who was filling up gas.

When the victim refused, there was a brief altercation, and Hanawahine ran away.

The victim chased the suspect, who then got into a car and opened fire.

Hanawahine has been remanded in custody on one-million dollars bail.
