New details have been released by the Copley Police Department about the surviving victim in a triple homicide that took place earlier this month in Summit County, Ohio.
The victim was one of four men who were bound, gagged, and shot in the head in the vicinity of the crime scenes.
However, he survived by playing dead when he was shot, and was able to flee the area.
A chance encounter at a Marathon gas station led police to a suspect, Elias Godino, who was identified by the survivor as the gunman.
Godino has been charged with aggravated murder and attempted aggravated murder in the Copley cases and is considered a suspect in the Akron killings.
The motive for the murders is still unclear, and all four victims were from Honduras and were acquaintances of each other.
