Suffolk High School student Courtney Toran has been accepted into over two dozen colleges and universities and has received over $700,000 in scholarships.
Toran, who will also earn her associate degree upon graduating from high school, credits her success to hard work.
She will attend Regent University in the fall to study psychology.
Toran’s principal, Dr.
Sean Green, says she stood out among the school’s 400 students for taking advanced courses and graduating with an associate’s degree.
The school typically announces scholarship totals between three and eight million dollars at graduation.
