A new study published today in the journal Pediatrics has revealed that Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) is on the rise among black babies.

The study found that in 2017, the rate of SIDS for black babies was twice as high as for white babies.

However, by 2020, the number had increased to nearly three times higher.

The researchers suggest that this could be due to growing disparities related to poverty, limited access to healthcare, and lack of stable and safe sleeping environments for infants.

Shockingly, one out of every six infant deaths is attributed to SIDS.
