A horrifying incident unfolded in downtown Los Angeles as a store owner was brutally beaten and robbed during a robbery.
The victim, who remains in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), was attacked by two hooded thieves armed with a semi-automatic handgun.

The thieves, masked and clad in hoodies, targeted the store owner and mercilessly pistol-whipped him, leaving him with multiple broken bones and severe injuries.
The assailants were after cash and jewelry, making off with valuable items after assaulting the defenseless victim.
The victim’s girlfriend, deeply disturbed by the incident, expressed her fear, anger, and frustration over the brutal attack.
She shared the footage of the incident and narrated the horrifying experience.
Due to rising crime and violence in the area, she had recently decided to relocate to Arizona, hoping for a safer environment.
Unfortunately, her worst fears came true when her boyfriend was targeted in such a vicious manner.
The surveillance footage captured the relentless violence inflicted by the two intruders.
They brandished at least one semi-automatic handgun and demanded the victim’s gold necklace, Rolex watch, and other jewelry.
Despite putting up a fight, the store owner was overpowered and subjected to further beatings, including pistol-whippings, kicks, and punches.
The incident occurred just two days after the store was burglarized.
Frankie Salerno, the victim, was present at the location with his friend, waiting for the police to arrive and investigate the previous break-in.
The thieves took advantage of the situation, unleashing their violent attack on Salerno and robbing him at gunpoint.
Salerno suffered extensive injuries, including a broken skull, broken eye socket, broken nose, and broken fingers.
The severity of the assault is deeply concerning, raising questions about the deteriorating state of safety in Los Angeles.
Authorities are still searching for the gunmen, both described as black.
One of the assailants wore a black cloth face mask, a black hoodie with an “X” on it, and black pants, while the other wore a white hoodie and blue jeans.
