Federal Charges Filed Against State Representative Earle Banks for Felony Tax Crime

Court documents reveal that Representative Earle Banks has been charged with evading payment of federal income taxes.

According to his 2018 tax return, Banks reported an income of over $38,000 while failing to disclose an additional income from real estate, totaling thousands of dollars.

If convicted, Banks could face a maximum prison sentence of three years, a fine of $250,000, and one year of supervised release.

In a separate case, a jury has found former President Donald Trump liable for sexually abusing E-Jean Carroll in 1996.

The federal court has awarded Carroll a sum of $5 million as a result of the verdict.

The announcement of the verdict was made in the federal court.
