Federal Charges Filed Against State Representative Earle Banks for Felony Tax Crime

According to his 2018 tax return, Banks reported an income of over $38,000 while failing to disclose an additional income from real estate, totaling thousands of dollars.
If convicted, Banks could face a maximum prison sentence of three years, a fine of $250,000, and one year of supervised release.
In a separate case, a jury has found former President Donald Trump liable for sexually abusing E-Jean Carroll in 1996.
The federal court has awarded Carroll a sum of $5 million as a result of the verdict.
