In a sports update, the Springfield Thunderbirds emerged victorious over the Providence Bruins in Friday night’s game.

The Thunderbirds put up a strong offensive effort, with Matthew Kessel scoring a goal and an assist, and Adam Gaudet contributing a goal and two assists.

The final score was 6-3 in favor of Springfield.

The Thunderbirds will be back on the ice tonight for a game against the Laval Rocket.

This game is the sixth annual “Pink in the Rink” event, which supports the Rays of Hope Foundation in Western Massachusetts.

The T-Birds will be wearing special pink jerseys, and the ice will be painted pink.

Unfortunately, tickets for tonight’s game have already sold out.
