Monday Marks Start of Spring: Prepare for Severe Weather

As the first day of spring arrives, many people are excited about the warmer temperatures that are on the way.

However, with the new season also comes the risk of severe weather, including thunderstorms, tornadoes, and floods.

To ensure you’re prepared for any possible severe weather, the CDC’s National Center for Environmental Health recommends having a battery-operated flashlight and extra batteries, a first aid kit, hygiene products, a 3-5 day supply of bottled water, and non-perishable food.
