Spokane Police Looking for Missing Young Man Last Seen in Early March

It has been over two weeks since 20-year-old Joseph Kamau was last seen by his family and friends.

The Spokane Police Department is now involved in the case, and Kamau’s mother is speaking out to local news hoping to get answers.

Kamau, who is 5’10” and weighs between 170-210 pounds, was last seen on March 3 at his apartment in East Cleveland.

Kamau’s family became concerned when he didn’t show up for work the next day and went to check on him at his apartment.

They found that a window had been shattered, and Kamau was nowhere to be found.

His cell phone, computer, and keys were left behind, which raised concerns about foul play.

Kamau’s mother describes him as a nice, obedient child who gets along with people.

He worked at a nearby McDonald’s and would call his mother every day, including the day before he disappeared.

Kamau was a 2019 graduate of Shadle Park High School and a member of the Kenyan community in the area.

He enjoyed playing basketball and going to the gym in his spare time.

Kamau’s family has put up posters in the Gonzaga area, hoping that someone will come forward with information about his whereabouts.
